EKU Psychology Clinic

The on campus EKU Psychology Clinic is temporarily closed in response to health concerns caused by COVID-19. Current clients are eligible to schedule treatment services with their clinician through the Telepsychology Clinic. New client applications for THERAPY are  being accepted. The clinic is also  currently accepting a limited number of new assessment case applications.  More information about these services are available on the EKU Telepsychology Clinic website. Eastern Kentucky University Psychology ClinicThe EKU Psychology Clinic is an outpatient behavioral health facility operated by the Department of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University.

Services are provided by doctoral students working on graduate degrees in clinical psychology. All clinicians have received specialized graduate training and are closely supervised by a licensed psychologist faculty member.

Services Provided

The Psychology Clinic offers a wide range of both group and individuals therapy services, as well as assessment services. The Psychology Clinic is open to children, adults, and families in Eastern Kentucky, including EKU faculty, staff, and students requesting assessment and/or are in need of extended services. There are no eligibility requirements for applying to the Psychology Clinic. A general listing of the services offered can be found below.

To schedule an initial appointment, call the Psychology Clinic at 859-622-2356. Please leave a message, if no one answers, someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

Cost of Services

The EKU Psychology Clinic is a non-profit organization. We do not accept insurance. Cost of services is based on a sliding scale, which is determined by a person's annual income, number of dependents in their household, and other financial considerations which may affect their ability to pay. Individual therapy sessions may range from $6.00 to $40.00 per visit. EKU students are not charged for therapy intervention. Assessments are a onetime fee that are also determined on a sliding scale and may range from $60.00 to $400.00. The client is charged following the completion of their assessment report. EKU students are charged a maximum of $21.00 for assessment services.
